2 5/8" (16mm) custom precision dice
The two-dice set “Italy” is a release in Battleschool’s Europa/Pacific series of 5/8″ (16mm) nationality-themed dice. Battleschool makes custom precision dice with various ASL-related thems.
This set contains two dice: 1)a white die with the “1” face replaced by the image of a helmeted Italian soldier’s head, presumably of the MSVN, and the fascist slogan “Avanti!” (advance!); and 2) a black die with the “1” face replaced by a silver foil fasces and the word “Italia.”
The soldier’s head is a little goofy looking, but otherwise the dice are nice enough. Because the dice are very fascist-oriented, they are not well-suited for Italians (partisan or otherwise) who fought against the Germans.
Players should be aware that these 5/8″ dice are fairly large and can get stuck in smaller dice towers.
